At the November school board meeting, third grader Elijah Scarbrough was chosen to receive the Superintendent award.  This award is given to one outstanding student from each of the MISD elementary campuses who shows outstanding citizenship.  Elijah was chosen because he is a kind, caring, helpful, honest, and hard-working individual.
