Registration Information:

Enrollment for students takes place online through Skyward or in person at your student's campus.

New Student Enrollment: Enrollment for new students for the 2026-2027 school year begins on May 1, 2026. 

This applies to students who:

• Are new to Mansfield ISD
• Were not enrolled in an MISD school on the last day of the previous school year

Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten enrollment also begins on April 1, 2026.

Returning Student Registration: 

Returning student registration for the 2026-2027 school year begins in July 2026. Current MISD families will receive an email when registration officially opens.

MISD is currently accepting Proof of Residency documents for returning students. Documents must have service dates in May or later.

All families with returning students in MISD must review the 2026–27 Proof of Residency Enrollment Information and complete one of the following:

• Bring proof of residency to the student’s campus during office hours, or
• Email proof of residency to the student’s 2026–27 campus email address

Please include:

• Student’s first and last name
• Student ID number

Meet the Teacher: 

Parents and students will have the opportunity to find out who their teacher is and meet them on August 10, 2026, from 5:00–6:30 PM. Enter through cafeteria doors. 

First Day of School: 

The first day of school is August 12, 2026, and we are excited to have students back on campus!

• School doors open at 7:30 AM
• Classes begin promptly at 8:00 AM
