Celeb Teacher of the Week | Announce 9/27 (R. Latson)
The Celebrities would like to congratulate Mr. Staggers for being selected as Celebrities Drill Team teacher of the week. Thank you for inspiring to all Timberview students!


Coble AVID | Announce 9/27 (K. Pena)
We would like to welcome all our Coble AVID 8th graders visiting the view today! We hope you have an exciting day being a wolf and enjoy everything Timberview has to offer!


International Club | Announce 9/27 (J. Perez-Woodrum)
Did you know that we are currently celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month? National Hispanic Heritage Month is meant to celebrate the customs, legacies, and achievements of United States citizens with Hispanic roots.

If you want to learn more about this and other cultures join the International Club. Our next meeting and Hispanic Heritage celebration is Monday, October 1st at 3pm in room 2015.


UIL Ready Writing & Literary Criticism | Announce 9/27 - 10/1 (C. Malone)
If you are interested in UIL Ready Writing and Literary Criticism, or if you have already signed up, don't forget our meeting Monday, October 1st at 3 in room 2022. If you have questions, please stop be whenever you can. Hope to see you soon.



THS CARES | Announce 9/26 - 10/2

Timberview CARE Week shirts are ready! Order forms are available outside the StuCo room 1201. Short sleeve $12 and long sleeve are $15, order forms are due no later than Tuesday, October 2 at 2pm. Show your support!


Sr. Pictures | Announce 9/25 - 26  (M. Ferris)
TODAY is your last chance to be in the yearbook or retake your senior photo. Stop by the library from 7:45-2 p.m. Come by 1409 for more information!


GSA | Announce 9/21 - 25  (L. Matthews)
GSA will be meeting after school on Tuesday, September 25th from 3-4pm in Coach Matthews room 1104.


Prairie View A & M University | Announce 9/21 - 26  (L. Grommesh)
Are you a junior or senior interested in attending Prairie View A & M University? Come learn about all the wonderful things Prairie View A & M has to offer! When: Wednesday September 26th Where: MISD Center for the Performing Arts Time: 6:30 US History, Goverment, and Economics teachers have a QR code for you to register.


Level Change Forms | Announce 9/19 - 27  (L. Grommesh)
Level change forms will be available in the Counseling office beginning Thursday, September 20. Completed forms are due back to the Counseling office by 3pm Thursday, September 27.

  • Voting for Senior King and Queen will take place during all lunches on Wednesday, Sept 26 in 1300 hallway computer lab. Everyone is encouraged to vote.

 

  • BBQ Tailgate

The annual THS versus LHS BBQ Showdown and Tailgate tickets are available now until next Thursday at the bookkeeper's office. Join us as we compete to keep the pink spatula! For $5 you get a chicken leg, chicken thigh, and some delicious sides. You are welcome to purchase additional tickets for your family members. All proceeds will go to a scholarship for two deserving MISD Seniors.

 

TCC | Announce 10/1 - 19  (S. Thurman)
Current THS sophomores, juniors, and seniors: Are you interested in taking a TCC course during 2nd semester? Please scan the QR code posted outside the counseling office by October 19th in order start the TCC process. Space is limited to available seats in existing courses. Students must meet the following qualifications in order to enter the dual credit program: 1) Sophomore classification 2) 80+ GPA 3) complete TCC application and Pre-Assessment Activity 4) Achieve qualifying scores on the TSI (taken at TCC)


TCC Tour | Announce 9/17 - 10/19  (B. Bielinski)
Graduating seniors are invited to learn more about TCC with a free tour of TCC on Friday November 2nd from 10 am to 1 pm. You must come by the counseling office to sign up before October 19th!


DECA Fashion Show | Announce 9/11 - 10/3  (I. Holder)
Ben Barber DECA and the Fashion Marketing Program is seeking models for their annual fall fashion show! The model auditions will be held October 3rd at 5 p.m. at Ben Barber in the commons. Any MISD student is eligible to try-out. Please fill out the attached application, include a picture and turn it in prior to the auditions or bring it the day of. We hope to see you there.


Drill Team Dance Clinic | Announce 9/4 - 10/12 (R. Latson)
Celebrities Drill Team are hosting their annual Lil' Stars dance clinic on October 13, 2018 for ages pre-k to 8th grade. Stop by room #1007 to pick-up a registration flyer.


SYATP  | Announce 8/22 - 9/26 (E. Nasypany)
SYATP 2018 is Wednesday, September 26, 2018. We will meet at the Timberview flag pole for sunrise worship at 6:50am and prayer to follow.
